Megan Wight is an occupational therapist who specialises in unlocking your child’s potential by building on their strengths and increasing their capability.
Megan provides therapy in home, school or kindy and is currently taking limited new referrals in Brisbane.

My Background
Megan’s entire career has been focused on one passion - enabling children to succeed at school.
She has spent the past 18 years working with children in London, Sydney and Brisbane schools and was a therapist at the prestigious London Children’s Practice.
Megan has also worked with Associate Professor Chris Chapparo to publish pioneering research on the link between information processing and learning difficulties.

Writing - our core focus.
Children can have a range of needs, but handwriting is often the biggest single factor that impacts academic performance. It’s so important in fact, that it’s our core focus.
Small improvements in writing can have compounding benefits which significantly impact a child’s trajectory. Their ability to keep pace in the classroom improves, and automaticity in writing frees up additional cognitive capacity for planning and composing ideas.
Focusing on handwriting can make a big difference.
Collaboration in context
Progress doesn’t happen in a vacuum. When learning happens in context, skills are more easily able to be generalised. Megan works exclusively with children at home, school or kindy - where they can apply their gains immediately. She also collaborates closely with parents and teachers to enable children to make sustainable gains.
